The hotel is situated in the centre of the little village of Pieve di Bono in the Valley of
the river Chiese (Valle del Chiese). Pieve di Bono with its 1400 inhabitants lies 514 m
above sea level and is a gateway to nearby Adamello-Brenta Natural Park.

In the area there are many possibilities for excursions: From the Chiese valley you can reach many small
and large natural paradises: Trails in the Adamello-Brenta Park, hikes to mountain pastures, the ethnographic
path in rio Caino, and last but not least the beautiful Lake Idro.
History left many traces in the area: i.e. of the powerful Lodron family, fortresses and ruins, the relicts of the second World War and the renowned Museo della Grande Guerra (Museum of World War).
In the valley there are various possibilities for sports activities: cycling on well kept bycicle paths, football grouds and tennis
courts, moto cross and mountainbike trails and fishing in mountain lakes and in the river Chiese.
In winter, the many frozen waterfalls on the area offer good ice climbing. They are gathering points for iceclimbers from all
over the world and host many international climbing competitions.
The famous ski resort Madonna di Campiglio is only 45 km away.
